After three years of being a Tony Moly endorser, Kim Hyun Joong has parted ways with Tony Moly and signed up with The Face Shop, the brand Bae Yong Joon endorsed two years ago.

I was really surprised when I read about it and was a bit sad because I really like Tony Moly products and recently, after watching Playful Kiss (Mischievous Kiss) and We Got Married, came to like Kim Hyun Joong. I would’ve wanted him to stay longer with Tony Moly as he’s just as cute as the packaging the brand uses on their cutesy products. Hehe.

Now that Kim Hyun Joong is with The Face Shop I wonder if he’ll be able to help the brand with its  vision of becoming the world’s leading  skin care brand by 2012.

Very optimistic, I must say. But even if they fall short on their own expectations come 2012, I believe they will be increasing their sales all the more now that they have included included Kim Hyun Joong — flawless skin, dazzling smile, and always fabulous hairstyles included — in their grand marketing plan.

Having said that, I wonder how much moolah The Face Shop raked in from the SS501 fandom since the news went out that they’ve signed up Kim Hyun Joong. Hmm….

Seriously, I can’t say much about The Face Shop products because I only use their Fruit Garden Hand Lotion and a couple of their face sheets. The Fruit Garden Hand Lotion is an average product, nothing to rant about but not worth raving either.

I might check out some of their products in the future, not because of Kim Hyun Joong but because they’re actually cheaper compared to Tony Moly and Skin Food.
