I was seriously running low on disk space (again!) a couple of days ago so I had to decide which Korean dramas to delete. The decision was very easy to make because I have downloaded really boring Korean dramas last year and I don’t have plans of watching them again.
On top of my must-delete list was Romance Town. Romance Town (Maid) stars Sung Yuri and she was the reason why I painstakingly downloaded all 20 episodes of it. In the drama, Sung Yuri plays No Soon Geum who works as a maid in order to survive. She and a bunch of other maids work for a small community of rich households where the homeowners and the maids all have interesting stories to tell. Sounds promising? No. I’m even wondering why I didn’t drop the drama. Maybe I was expecting something interesting to happen before the finale. It just didn’t.
Well, It was good for the first couple of episodes and then it got really dragging. The only good things about the drama is that Sung Yuri’s acting really improved a lot. And oh, there were also some really cute scenes between Min Hyo-rin and Kim Min Joon.
The cast of Romance Town also includes Kim Ye Won and Jung Gyu Woon. Below are more posters of the drama.
