The news that Kang Ji-hwan (Coffee House) and Yoon Eun-hye (Coffee Prince/My Fair lady) are the lead stars of the upcoming SBS Korean romantic comedy drama “Lie to Me” (Sweet Scandal/Try Lying to Me) got me so excited. I like both actors so the drama automatically becomes a must-watch for me.
In “Lie to Me”, Yoon Eun-hye plays Gong Ah-jung, a Ministry of Culture official who figures into a marriage scandal involving Hyun Ki-joon, played by Kang Ji-hwan. What makes the situation really complicated is that Kang Ji-hwan’ character is a hotel CEO of noble ancestry and has a reappearing ex-fiancee.

I just found out the Hyun Bin’s latest movie – Come Rain, Come Shine – which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival was booed by film critics during its world premiere.
Come Rain, Come Shine stars Hyun Bin and Lim Soo Jung. The film by Lee Yoon Ki received a lot of negative reviews from film critics.

The Korean drama Dream High is one of the dramas I finished watching last month. The drama stars Taecyon (2PM), Ham Eun-jung (Coffee House, T-ara), Suzy (miss A), Kim Soo Hyun, Wooyoung (2PM) and IU.
Dream High revolves around the challenges encountered by the students of Kirin School of the Arts as they aspire to debut as artists in the entertainment industry.

I found Dream High entertaining although I’m not very familiar with most of the very young lead stars, except for Ham Eun-jung whom I loved in Coffee House. Honestly, I have never heard of Kim Soo Hyun, Taecyon, Wooyoung, Suzy, and IU pre-Dream High. This is understandable since I have never watched the drama Giant or know that many k-pop artists and groups.
